Phidippus pruinosus
Occasionally we get lucky. This is one of the rarest jumping spiders in the USA. The male here
was on a low plant in central Texas where the species occurs in only a few counties.
 It is called Hoary Jumper -- for the white "hoar frost" on its foreparts.
