Hentzia mitrata
The genus Hentzia was named in honor of Nicholas Hentz, a pioneer French-American arachnologist of
the 19th century. The genus embraces about twenty species found in eastern North
America and in the islands and lands around the Caribbean.
This species is found from Canada to south Florida.
The two males seen here are busy eating flies.
