male Bronze Lake Jumper -- Florida
female "Military" Jumper -- Texas
The two individuals below belong to the genus Eris. Both are called Bronze Jumping Spiders. However, the lady
at left was given a species name that translates from Latin as "military" or "soldier." The iridescent
species at right is almost always found around lakes, both sexes being vividly bronze.
