Since jumping spiders are active hunters, relying only upon their keen eyesight to find food, they
usually spend much of their daylight time searching for prey. Only a few jumpers wait
passively for insects to approach. The individual below searched for several
hours before spotting, stalking and subduing its victim for lunch.
