Philodromus praelustris

This lightning-fast crab spider is a Philodromid species that ranges through much of
the USA and Canada. It can be found on shrubs, in grasses, on buildings, or
in this case, on the wall of a motel room in California. It usually
rests with its legs spread out wide, as seen below.
