Ctenus captiosus

Below is a species of wandering spider found in Florida and probably in south Georgia, USA. It is usually called the Florida False Wolf Spider, and for many years it was considered to be highly venomous. Arachnologists seem to doubt this now, although a bite might cause some swelling and pain.
